“Namo Amitabha Buddha” is Our Treasure
People chase after money and fame like they’re the crown jewels. But they’re missing the point - even the most precious things in this world don’t last. Worse still, they can become heavy burdens that weigh down our karma.
When our time is up, we have to leave everything behind. All our achievements, all our wealth - none of it follows us beyond this life.
But “Namo Amitabha Buddha” is different. Like our shadow, it stays with us day and night, through sleep and waking, wherever we go. Nothing can break this perfect connection between us Amitabha-reciters and the Buddha.
This treasure isn’t something we need to search for - it’s already ours, given to us by the Buddha, free of charge. It’s right at our fingertips, always there when we need it.
Just keeping Amitabha Buddha in our thoughts and reciting his name naturally brings us the most precious gift in the universe.
Amitabha Buddha shines supreme among all lights, and he is the king among all Buddhas. His name “Namo Amitabha Buddha”, the great name of myriad virtues, is filled with inconceivable, boundless merits.
As the saying goes, “Small investments yield great returns.” Reciting the Buddha’s name costs nothing, yet it brings the supreme benefit - rebirth in the Pure Land and the ultimate attainment of Buddhahood. This is why we should regard “Namo Amitabha Buddha” as our most precious treasure.
